2017 Seniors Christmas Concert
Free tickets are available for the NSW Government’s popular Seniors Christmas Concerts, which are being held in Taree on Friday 17 November. Starring Peter Cousens, Daisy Cousens, Darren Coggan and Ashleigh Rubenach.
There are two shows at the Manning Entertainment Centre on 17 November, at 10:30am and 2:00pm.
Up to four tickets are available per person. People with a lifelong disability and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people are classified as a senior if they are 50 years of age or over. Non-seniors are able to attend the concerts with a senior, if they are a carer, companion or friend/ family member accompanying the senior to the concert.
The concerts are presented by NSW Department of Family and Community Services to thank and recognise seniors for their valued and ongoing contributions to their families and communities. The Christmas concerts travel to different NSW locations each year and the Premier’s Gala Concerts are held in Sydney during the NSW Seniors Festival in April 2018.
